He began his professional career playing for the Dodgers' rookie affiliate team the DSL Dodgers.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Colorado Rockies on June 1, 2018 as a member of the Dodgers.

He is a native of San Pedro De Macoris, Dominican Republic. He lives with his wife, Mari, and their two sons.

He pitched against Trevor Story during the 2018 MLB season.
