Denny Jones
ABOUT DENNY JONES
Republican politician who served for thirteen terms in the Oregon Legislative Assembly. A rancher, he had as his constituency the residents of four Eastern Oregon counties.
He dropped out of high school to work as a horse jockey; later, he worked as a cattle rancher.
He was a two-time president of the Oregon Cattlemen's Association.
He and his wife Mildred became parents to several children. At the time of his death, Jones was a great-great grandfather.
He was a contemporary of fellow Oregon politician Wayne Morse .
