Derek Brockway

ABOUT DEREK BROCKWAY

United Kingdom meteorologist who worked for the Met Office and BBC Wales. He also hosted a popular radio and television program called Weatherman Walking.

He studied physics, mathematics, and statistics at the Reading College of Technology.

He wrote a book entitled Whatever the Weather and also published a children's book called Duck and Starfish.

He was born in Barry, Wales, and he later settled in Cardiff.

He and New York-based weatherman Nick Gregory both had prominent careers as meteorologists.
