ABOUT DEVOLEENA BHATTACHARJEE
Bengali screen actress known best as Gopi Bahu in the Indian soap opera Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. She also appeared in an Imagine TV series titled Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto.
Before beginning her acting career, she completed coursework in business, accounting, and jewelry design.
In 2013, she competed in Season 2 of the reality series Dance India Dance.
She and her younger brother grew up in Sivasagar, Assam, India, as members of a Bengali family of the Brahmin caste.
In Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, she worked with Indian director Pawan Kumar .
