ABOUT DIMITRIS HORN
Regarded as one of Greece's greatest actors, he served as First Director of the Greek State Radio and Television after the reinstatement of democracy. He garnered acclaim for his appearances in 1954's The Counterfeit Coin and 1956's A Girl in Black.
He was trained at the Drama School of Greece's National Theater and debuted there in 1941.
He only appeared in 10 films, and stated that he didn't care for the medium.
His wife was shipping heiress Anna Goulandri.
His work on the stage was where he made his reputation, being praised for his performances in Nikolai Gogol's Diary of a Madman, Molière's Dom Juan, and Richard III, the latter of which was written by William Shakespeare .
