Dmitri Akimov

ABOUT DMITRI AKIMOV

Former professional soccer player and athlete who is recognized for having played the forward position for Dynamo Saint Petersburg, Fakel Voronezh, Sibir Novosibirsk, and more. He retired after the 2014 season.

He began his professional career with FC Zenit St. Petersburg in 2000.

He was the recipient of the Russian Premier League's bronze honor in 2001. In 2007, he was the lead scoring player in all of the Russian First Division. During his time with Dynamo Saint Petersburg he scored a total of 6 goals.

His full name is Dmitri Sergeyevich Akimov.

Both he and fellow athlete Igor Denisov were born in Russia.
