ABOUT DODDA GANESH
Star of the Irani Trophy in 1996-97 who bowled for India on their tours of South Africa and West Indies.
He excelled as a bowler at AV Jayaprakash's training camp and was eventually chosen for the Karnataka side.
He joined the left-leaning political party Janata Dal after his cricketing career was over.
He was born in Bangalore, Karnataka.
He and right-handed batsman Vijay Bharadwaj both represented Karnataka during their career.
