ABOUT DON IMUS
Imus in the Morning radio host who became known for his ornery on-air persona. Also a philanthropist, he established the Imus Ranch for Children.
For three years, he served in the United States Marine Corps.
Before becoming a disc jockey and radio host, he worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad.
He married Harriet Showalter in June of 1969. They divorced ten years later. He wed Deirdre Coleman on December 17, 1994.
He was once the winner of a talent show at a club owned by Johnny Otis .
