ABOUT DOTTIE GREEN

Baseball player famous for being one of the sixty founding players of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. She won a league title with the Rockford Peaches in 1945.

She was captain of the softball, basketball and field hockey teams during her senior year of high school.

She is one of just three women to have played in each of the twelve seasons of the AAGPBL's existence.

She had a brother named John and a sister named Beatrice.

She and Peaches teammate Dottie Key are two of the most well-known players to have played in the AAGPBL.
