ABOUT DOUG CLIFFORD

Drummer and composer for the swamp rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival known for such hits as "Proud Mary" and "Bad Moon Rising."

He was a founding member of Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1967. The band released their self-titled debut album in 1968.

He released a solo album called Cosmo in 1971.

He married Laurie Clifford in 1968.

He and bassist Stu Cook were both members of Creedence Clearwater Revival, then in 1995, they formed Creedence Clearwater Revisited, covering their hits of yesteryear with new singer John "Bulldog" Tristao.
