Scottish-born magician particularly known for his pickpocketing tricks. Also a philanthropist, he directed the Hocus Pocus Project, a magic training program for poverty-stricken people that was established by the Conjuring Arts Research Center.

He once performed a stunt in which he stole New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani 's watch in full view of the mayor's security detail.
Born in Scotland, he later settled in New York City.
He was a magic consultant on one episode of J.J. Abrams ' hit show Fringe.
