Doug Pagitt
ABOUT DOUG PAGITT
Author whose books about Christianity include Preaching Re-Imagined: The Role of the Sermon in Communities of Faith and BodyPrayer : The Posture of Intimacy with God. Also a pastor, he founded the church Solomon's Porch in southern Minneapolis.
His first book, entitled A Christianity Worth Believing: Hope-filled, Open-armed, Alive-and-well Faith for the Left Out, Left Behind, and Let Down in us All, was published in 2008.
He started a radio show in 2010 called The Doug Pagitt Radio Program on AM950, in which he has discussed theology and culture.
He has been married to Shelley Pagitt, who has worked as a yoga instructor in conjunction with Solomon's Porch.
He and Lee Strobel are both known for writing about Christianity.
