She is a former collegiate volleyball player who played at Louisiana State University for four years and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting in 2011. She went on to further her education at Xavier University of Louisiana, where she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2015. She started her blog in 2018.

She and her husband, graduated together in 2015, bought a house, got married, and started their family. Her husband is also a pharmacist, and together they run a seven figure family digital content creation business.
