She was cast in the Mexican telenovela Rebelde , which led the the formation of her band, RBD .
She was llyena Faustin in the video game Grand Theft Auto IV.
She previously dated actor Pablo Lyle and soccer star Memo Ochoa . In November 2019, she married Paco Álvarez. She and Álvarez welcomed their first child in December 2020. She's the great-niece of famed Mexican painter Frida Kahlo .
She starred alongside Alfonso Herrera on the telenovela Rebelde.
