ABOUT DUNCAN SCOTT
Olympic swimmer who specializes in butterfly, freestyle, and medley strokes. He competed in the 2017 World Aquatics Championships and the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Following the 2024 Paris Olympics, he became tied as the third most-decorated Olympian in British history.
He attended the University of Stirling.
He was named Scottish Sportsperson of the Year in 2018. He won both a gold and silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
His full name is Duncan William MacNaughton Scott. His sister Alex has also been a competitive swimmer.
He and swimmer James Guy both competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
