Dusko Trifunovic

ABOUT DUSKO TRIFUNOVIC

Poet and lyricist who penned more than three-hundred songs and eighty-four poetry collections, as well as a novel and several screenplays. His works include Veliko otvorenje and Tajna veza.

During his teenage years, he was employed as a locksmith and a factory worker.

He wrote several children's books and also created children's educational programs for Television Sarajevo.

He was born in a small village called Sijekovac. He died in the city of Novi Sad.

He and Aleksa Santic were both eastern European authors.
