Chef famous who gained fame through his instructional cooking content that he shares on social media. His TikTok video showing how he makes shrimp and crab gumbo received over 3 million views. He founded the House of Nguyen with the goal of providing fans with cooking education and a way to connect with other people that are passionate about food.

He began sharing cooking content on social media during the pandemic in 2020 after he lost his cooking job and his culinary education was cut short.

His cooking video-filled dvdnguyen Instagram page has gained 600,000 followers. He partnered with the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center to present a pop-up 5-course dining experience in Los Angeles in May 2022. He worked as a chef for The French Laundry.

He was inspired to pursue cooking by his mother who sold food as a street vendor in Vietnam and cooked for his family.

He cooked with Danny Trejo at Trejo's Tacos on Cinco de May in 2022.
