Ed Danowski
ABOUT ED DANOWSKI
Quarterback who played for the New York Giants from 1934-1941, where he won two NFL championships.
He attended Fordham University, where he was the star of the football team.
He was a one-time All-Star, a three-time All Pro, and in 1935 he was the passing yards and passing touchdowns leader.
His son, John Danowski, was a lacrosse coach at Duke University.
He is the grandfather of Matt Danowski , one of the greatest college lacrosse players of all time.
