Actor and comedian who starred in the 1982 film, Kadawunu Poronduwa. He also appeared in the 1976 film, Kolomba Sanniya.
He performed in the Minerva theater troupe with his brother, B. A. W. Jayamanne, in the 1930s.
He played a musician in the 1960 film, Sandesaya.
He married Rukmani Devi shortly after his career blew up.
Like Keanu Reeves , he made his living as an actor.
