ABOUT EDDY ALVAREZ

Professional infielder that was signed by the Chicago White Sox in 2014. He was acquired by the Miami Marlins via trade in March 2019.

He began his professional career playing for the White Sox' rookie affiliate team the AZL White Sox.

He made his major league debut playing against the Baltimore Orioles on August 5, 2020 as a member of the Marlins.

He is a native of  Miami, Florida.

He played alongside Joe Panik during the 2021 MLB season.
