ABOUT EDWIN CERRILLO

American defensive midfielder who kicked off his senior career with the Major League Soccer (MLS) club FC Dallas in the year 2019. He also played for North Texas SC between 2019 and 2021. He has represented the United States at the U20 and U23 levels.

He played youth soccer for FC Dallas between 2015 and 2018.

He shares moments from his soccer matches through photos posted to his edwincerrillo Instagram account. He is eligible to play for both Mexico and the United States. He was called up on the back of good league form to the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup, although he did not play in that tournament.

He is of Mexican descent.

He and Paul Arriola have played together as teammates for FC Dallas.
