Edwin Keith Thomson

ABOUT EDWIN KEITH THOMSON

American politician and Republican who was a United States Representative from Wyoming from 1955 until his death in 1960. He was elected to the US Senate but died a month before taking office.

He graduated from the University of Wyoming Law School in Laramie.

He was a decorated war veteran and commanded the Second Battalion, Three Hundred and Sixty-second Infantry Regiment, Ninety-first Division in World War II.

He married Thyra Thomson and they had three sons.

He and Tom Hawk both served in the House of Representatives.
