Right-handed relief pitcher that was originally signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers as an international free agent in 2016. He was later acquired by the Arizona Diamondbacks via waivers in October 2022. He posts primarily baseball content on his edwin_uceta_martinez Instagram account, accompanied by occasional photos with friends and family.
He initially began his professional career playing for the DSL Dodgers. He signed his first professional contract at the age of 16.
He made his first MLB pitching appearance playing against the Milwaukee Brewers on April 30, 2021. He pitched just two innings and collected two strikeouts.
He is a native of Villa Los Almacigos, Dominican Republic.
