Actor and comedian also known as Manuel "El Loco" Valdés who starred in the movies La caperucita roja, Las mujeres panteras, and A ritmo de twist. He tragically passed away from cancer in 2020.

At age 13, he appeared as an extra in the film El Hijo Desobediente.

He was considered the first true television comedian. He was a long-time fan of the Mexican soccer team Club América.

His full name was Manuel Gómez Valdés de Castillo. He had twelve children, including actor Christian Castro . His brothers Ramón and Germán, also known as Tin-Tan, were renowned comedians as well.

He appeared in the telenovela Atrévete a Soñar starring Danna Paola .
