Elizabeth Triegaardt

ABOUT ELIZABETH TRIEGAARDT

Former ballet dancer and Executive Chairman of the Cape Town City Ballet.

She studied Pure Mathematics at the University of Cape Town, where she graduated in 1966.

For her role as the Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, she won the Nederburg Prize.

She was born in Pretoria, South Africa.

She and Rugby player Coenie Oosthuizen are both originally from South Africa.
