Actress best known as the mother of Laura Marano and Vanessa Marano . She is an actress and has played roles in Magnum, P.I. , Dynasty , and Sunset Beach. She worked as a producer on Saving Zoë and The Royal Treatment .

She earned a communications degree from the University of Southern California .

She owns and manages the Augora Children's Theater. She hosted a YouTube series called Scene Study. Her daughters began acting at a young age, which she was hesitant towards initially.

Her husband is Damiano Marano. They have two daughters who are both actresses and singers.

She and Tom Selleck starred in Magnum, P.I.
