Elodie Ouedraogo
ABOUT ELODIE OUEDRAOGO
Retired Belgian sprinter of Burkinabé descent who specializes in the 200m and 400m hurdles. She has a gold medal from the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the 4x100m relay. Her personal best time is in the 200 m, at 23.11 seconds. The 2012 Memorial Van Damme was her last event.
She competed in the 2000 World Junior Championships when she was 19, in the 100m hurdles.
As of 2018, she is the third-fastest Belgian woman.
Her fiancé is Belgian cartoonist Jeroom Snelders.
At the 2007 World Championships she won a bronze medal in the 4x100 m relay with teammates Olivia Borlee and Kim Gevaert , setting a new world record.
