ABOUT ELVIA ALLMAN
Former actress known for her numerous supporting roles in dozens of TV shows and movies over more than five decades. Her more notable roles included Elverna Bradshaw on the Beverly Hillbillies and Selma Pout on Petticoat Junction.
She started her career in radio at the end of the 1920s before working as a voice actress on cartoons in the 1930s.
Other credits of hers included The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show, Blondie, and I Love Lucy.
She died from pneumonia in 1992. She was married three times in her life and was twice widowed.
She also made several appearances on The Jack Benny Program.
