ABOUT EMILY BRIGHTWELL
American author of mysteries and young adult fiction. Her best-known works include the Mrs. Jeffries, Dear Diary, and Life at Sixteen series.
She published her first novel, Kindred Spirits, in 1990 under the pseudonym of Sarah Temple.
Between 1993 and 2014, she published thirty-three titles in her Mrs. Jeffries Victorian murder mystery series.
With her husband, Richard James Arguile, she raised two children: Matthew and Amanda.
She and Judy Blume both wrote works of children's literature.
