Wife of former American politician Harold Ford Jr. , who served in the United States House of Representatives as Democrat for ten years representing the ninth district of Memphis, Tennessee. She works with her husband at their financial managing company.

She graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor's degree in business and marketing in 2003.

She met her husband while they were both attending a friend's wedding.

She lives with her husband and their two children.

Her husband worked alongside Chuck Todd while on the NBC's show Meet the Press.
