ABOUT EMMA ATKINS

Actress who became known for her work as Charity Tate on the British soap opera Emmerdale . She has appeared in over 2,000 episodes of the long-running show.

She got her BA in Performing Arts from the University of Salford.

She is multi-talented as a photographer and a musician on flute, piano and violin. From 2005-2018, she was nominated for four British Soap Opera Awards.

Her parents ran a business together, and her sister is a fashion designer. In 2015 she and her business partner Tom welcomed a baby boy.

She is best-recognized for starring in Emmerdale, which gave actress Angela Griffin her start in acting.
