English actress and writer who was a regular on the BBC Radio 2 comedy That Was Then, This Is Now. She has also published books including 2007's How To Bring Up Your Parents.
She started out in comedy troupes that included Seven Raymonds and The Oxford Revue.
She has acted in television comedies like The Smoking Room and Goodness Gracious Me. Throughout her lengthy acting career, she has earned more than 25 credits for her work in different films and on television series'. Her credits as a screen-writer include work on 6 different TV series'.
She has come out as gay and became engaged to Georgie Gibbon in 2014. They married in July of 2015.
She has appeared in the comedy People Like Us, alongside Chris Langham .
