ABOUT ERIC DELANEY
Popular British swing and jazz drummer, percussionist, and bandleader during the 1950s and early 1960s.
He won a prestigious award at age sixteen for his skills as a swing drummer.
His Eric Delaney Band often featured, in addition to drums, other percussion instruments such as the glockenspiel, xylophone, and Chinese gong.
He was born in a West London suburb called Acton.
He was highly regarded by fellow drummer Louie Bellson , with whom he collaborated on the 1967 album, "Repercussion."
