ABOUT ERIC DICKEY

A New York Times bestselling author, he is particularly known for his novels about contemporary African-American life. His best-known works include An Accidental Affair (2012), Sister, Sister (1996), Liars Game (2000), and Thieves' Paradise (2002).

He worked for FedEx and as a department store bill collector during his college years at Memphis State University. After moving to Los Angeles, he dabbled in acting and stand-up comedy.

In addition to his acclaimed novels, he wrote a six-issue miniseries of X-Men comic books focusing on the characters of Storm and the Black Panther.

He was born in Memphis, Tennessee.
