ABOUT ERIC LACOMBE
Self-taught French painter and digital artist who is known for depicting sadness and melancholy in his canvas work. He has had his work featured all over the world, including in London and New York City, as well as a permanent exhibition installed in 2015 at the British Lily Clifford Gallery.
He originally worked professionally as a graphic designer before turning to painting full-time. He began drawing as a child before losing interest during his schooling.
He has gained popularity to his self-titled Instagram account for showcasing his work with more than 80,000 followers. He has also earned more than 240,000 Facebook likes to his official page.
He was originally born and raised in Lyon, France.
He and David Boyd are both famous for their paintings depicting sadness and pain.
