ABOUT ERIC SCOTT

Best known for his role as Ben Walton in the popular 1970s television series The Waltons, he also appeared in episodes of Bewitched, Medical Center, and The Fall Guy.

Early in his acting career, he appeared in a 1970 episode of The Doris Day Show. He got his big break when he acted in The Homecoming: A Christmas Story, the 1971 television movie that spawned the popular series The Waltons.

In the late 1970s, he appeared on the Family Feud game show.

Following a brief marriage to Karey Louis, he wed Theresa Fargo, with whom he had one daughter, Ashley. After Fargo's death from leukemia, he married Cindy Ullman Wolfen, who became the mother of his second daughter and first son.

He and Richard Thomas both became famous for their roles in The Waltons.
