ABOUT ERIK MARMO
Brazilian actor, entertainer, artist, performer, and television presenter who is known for his work in a wide assortment of television series including The Purge (2019), Gabriela (2012), Women in Love (2003), Soul Mate 92005), and Mulheres Apaxionadas (2003).
He originally had an interest in business but began pursuing acting instead. He initially gained popularity through his role in the soap opera Mulheres Apaixonadas in 2003.
He speaks both Portuguese and English fluently. He appeared in the short film Dream of Love in 2018. He moved to the United States in 2014 to begin working for American audiences. He is also known for being the host of Planeta Brasil (2015-2018), which focused on stories of Brazilians living in the U.S.
He was born Erik Marmo de Moraes. He was born and raised in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He married model Larissa Burnier in 2009. They have two children, and their family life is divided between Brazil and the United States.
He worked alongside Christiane Torloni in the telenovela Mulheres Apaixonadas in 2003. He appeared in an episode of The Purge in 2019, starring Gabriel Chavarria , Derek Luke , and Hannah Emily Anderson .
