Best known for his role as Dewey, the younger brother on the hit show Malcolm in the Middle .
He had a wide variety interests as a youngster including saxophone and Tae Kwon Do, in which he has a black belt.
He is known for his work on Malcom, but also for such films as the Academy Award-winning The Cider House Rules .
His father, Fred, owns a Mexican restaurant in Massachusetts called The Alamo. He grew up as an only child.
He played the son of future Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston on Malcolm in the Middle.
