ABOUT ERNEST NSIMBI

Hip hop artist from Uganda. He is known for popularizing rap and Lugaflow music in Uganda, as well as bringing these styles to the forefront of mainstream radio and other media. He's also the founder and CEO of Baboon Forest Entertainment, an independent hip-hop record label.

In the year 2007, he marked his entry into the Ugandan music scene with his debut song titled "Soda Jinjale."

His stage name (GNL) is an abbreviation for "Greatness With No Limits."

He is from Uganda. Alongside his wife, who is also a musical artist, they created a musical duo known as Nsimbi.

He has cited artists like Eddy Grant as musical influences.
