Esme Young

ABOUT ESME YOUNG

Fashion designer turned television personality known for having co-founded the Camden Town-based enterprise Swanky Modes. Her designs have been featured in publications like Vogue, Nova, Honey, and The Face.

She learned how to sew while she was a student at the Convent of the Holy Ghost. She later went on to attend the Saint Martins School of Art.

She designed costumes that appeared in the films The Beach , Trainspotting , and Bridget Jones's Diary . In 2016, she became a judge on the reality TV series The Great British Sewing Bee.

She is the daughter of Patricia Cole and Brian Young.

Both she and Patrick Grant are judges on The Great British Sewing Bee.
