He attended Stillwater High School in Oklahoma, where he played shortstop and grew up in a baseball family. He was drafted as the 4th pick by the Rockies in the 2025 MLB Draft and got the highest signing bonus ever given to a high school player.

Both he, his dad, and his older brother have received the Gatorade state baseball player of the year award in Oklahoma. In 2022, he competed in the U-15 Baseball World Cup and won the world championship.

His parents are Matt Holliday and Leslee. He has four siblings, including Jackson Holliday , Reed, and Gracyn. He has a girlfriend named Mary O'Neil.
