ABOUT EZEKIEL AZONWU

Nigerian-American Christian spoken word poet and performer, best known for his viral spoken word pieces "Almost" and "When I Became A Man," which have collectively garnered millions of views on YouTube. He is also known for his Instagram page wordsbyezekiel, which has over 172,000 followers.

He was involved in various forms of ministry and community service before gaining fame as a spoken-word poet. He began performing his poetry in church settings and at local events before he began posting his content online in the year 2013.

He is a frequent collaborator with P4CM (Passion for Christ Movement). He is the author of The Whole Woman (2019) and The Whole Man (2020). He has taken part in many panel discussions, workshops, and conferences focused on faith and artistry.

He is the son of Nigerian Immigrants. He has 5 children. He often speaks about his wife and children in his poetry work.

He has worked alongside other notable Christian poets such as Preston Perry and Jackie Hill-Perry .
