Ezi Magbegor

ABOUT EZI MAGBEGOR

Veteran center that was originally taken as a first round pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Seattle Storm . Since then, she has played basketball professionally in leagues across Hungary, Australia, the Czech Republic and the United States. She is also a member of the Australian women's national team.

She is a graduate of the University of Canberra Senior Secondary College. As a teenager, she was named MVP of the FIBA U-17.

In the year 2023, she played a career-high 40 games while also recording new career-highs in points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals. As a result of her new career-highs, she earned her first WNBA All-Star appearance. She's quite tall for a woman, standing at 6'4".

Growing up, she lived with her family in Wellington, New Zealand. She was born of Nigerian descent.

She credits Lauren Jackson as being one of her biggest basketball influences.
