Tunisian-French vocalist known for his numerous solo albums as well as for his 1970s and 1980s albums with such bands as Vangelis and Les Variations. His song "Words" has gained more than 250 million streams.
He started his career as a singer and guitarist for the French band Les Trefles.
He worked as a songwriter and composer for other artists. In 2013, he released his eighth solo album Midnight Drive.
He was born in Menzel Bourguiba, Tunisia.
Elements of his song "Don't Go" were incorporated into Mr. Oizo 's 2007 song "First Love."
