ABOUT FABINHO

Defensive midfielder, right-back and centre-back, who signed with the English Premier League club team Liverpool in 2018. He is also a member of the Brazilian National club team.

He began playing soccer professionally in 2012 as a member of the Fuminense FC. He played in his first game with Fluminense on May 20, 2012 as a substitute in a 1-0 win over the Corinthians Paulista Sports Club.

Between 2015 and 2019, he made exactly 12 appearances for the Brazilian national team.

In 2015, he married his long-time girlfriend Rebeca Tavares.

He and Roberto Firmino were teammates on the Brazilian national team in 2015, before meeting again as teammates for Liverpool in 2018.
