Haitian designer known especially for his handmade beaded garments.

After relocating to America in 1964, he enrolled at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

In 1981, he was a recipient of the Coty Award.

He was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

He and actress Meta Golding are both originally from Haiti.
