ABOUT FATIMA LOPES

Known for her self-titled, Lisbon-based fashion line, this Portuguese designer opened a second boutique in Paris, France in 1996 and a third in Los Angeles, California in 2003. She also established a Portuguese modeling agency called Face Models.

She began designing clothing during her childhood years and, in her early adulthood, worked briefly as a travel agent.

In 2000, she walked a Paris fashion runway wearing a million-dollar bikini made of gold and diamonds.

She was married to Eduardo da Bernarda from 2002-2010. She later married Angelo Rebelo in 2016.

In preparation for the 2006 World Cup, she designed the official uniform for the Cristiano Ronaldo -captained Portugal national football team.
