She auditioned for her spot in the group Play when she was 13 years old and after being selected, the group was signed to Columbia Records.
She also worked as a model appearing in several runway shows with the agency Synkcasting.
She has an older sister and an older brother.
She made a cameo appearance in Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen 's film Holiday in the Sun.
