He released his first album, The Beggar and the Queen, in 1997. He followed that up with Goddess in 1998.

He first released "Helicopter" in 2015 and by 2021 it had over 14 million views. An official video for the song was released in December 2021.

He is of Bosnian-Romani descent. He was born in the former Bihać in former Yugoslavia.

The Instagram star Laetitia Ky used "Helicopter" for a TikTok turning her hair into a helicopter.
