ABOUT FEDERICO REDONDO

Men's defensive midfielder that was first signed by the Argentinian Primera División league squad Argentinos Juniors in December of 2021. He is the son of former Argentinian soccer legend Fernando Redondo . Through his mother, he is the grandson of the footballer Jorge Solari and the nephew of Eduardo Solari and Esteban Solari.

He initially began playing soccer as a young boy growing up. He was later given the opportunity to join the Argentinos Juniors Youth Academy at the age of ten.

He is a third-generation soccer player. His father, grandfather, brother, and his two uncles all played club soccer professionally for many years.

Although he was born in Madrid, Spain, he grew up living with his parents in Argentina. He is the youngest of two brothers.

He shares a January 18th birthday with Pep Guardiola .
